The most classic and timeless necklace style is the simple beaded necklace which can be handmade using small delicate gemstone beads or any style of bead up to huge over sized beads for a statement design. Beaded necklaces can be handmade in any length from a short choker necklace or a 16" necklace through the most popular length of an 18" necklace right through to a long necklace which can be wrapped around several times or worn long for a contemporary look.

Necklaces are often handmade with a single focal piece such as a pendant. Pendants can be handmade in almost any material and can be a small simple drop or a large focal piece.
