This long Opal necklace is handmade in solid 18k gold using over 20 carats of Andamooka 'Supergem' Opal mined at the world famous Andamooka Horse Paddock Opal mine, known for producing some of the worlds finest Opal. Each Opal is hand wrapped in solid 18k gold and is hand linked into a delicate solid 18k gold chain.
Every Opal is of supergem grade and has amazing colour flashes throughout. A matching set of Opal of this grade is a very rare find and Opal of this grade historically increases in value each year by between 5% and 20% making this an excellent investment piece.
This necklace is finished with a handmade solid 18k gold clasp.
This long delicate necklace measures approximately 54" and can be worn long, wrapped around twice for those who prefer a medium length necklace or wrapped around three times for a shorter style. This necklace can also be wrapped several times around the wrist and worn as a unique multi strand bracelet making it a very versatile piece that will become a staple piece in your Opal jewellery collection.
